Zakati respects your privacy. We do not require sign-in and we do not collect your personal data on our servers.
Locally stored data
Your calculator history, default currency, light/dark preference and savings planner drafts are stored only inside your browser (Local Storage and cookies). This data is not sent to our servers.
Server-stored savings lists
When you save a savings list, it is stored on our server and linked to a private, hard-to-guess link. No account or sign-in is required, and anyone you share that private link with can view the list — so only share it with people you trust.
Auto-drafts
While editing a savings list, a temporary draft may be kept in your browser when there are unsaved changes. The draft is cleared once the list is successfully saved.
WhatsApp contact
The contact page prepares a WhatsApp message on your device and does not send any data to our servers. The message is sent directly through WhatsApp once you confirm.
Gold price sources
Gold prices and currency exchange rates are fetched from public market-data providers through our server, without linking them to your identity. A short window of recent daily price history is kept temporarily to draw the charts.
Data retention
Saved lists remain available until they are deleted. Calculator history and drafts remain in your browser until you clear them.
